Insights on Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics & its connected concepts : framed after First and Second Law of Thermodynamics. It is the basis for measurement of Temperature. Zeroth law of Thermodynamics defines Absolute Temperature. Ideal Gas or Perfect Gas is a function of Absolute Temperature only. In Throttling process, Enthalpy remains constant and Temperature is constant throughout the process but it is not a Isothermal process. Absolute Zero Temperature is reached when motion at molecular level is stopped. Temperature is an Intensive property(Independent of extent of mass). The unit of Temperature in S.I unit is Kelvin. Temperature is a property and which is defined as a point function and NOT path function. In Hyperbolic process Temperature remains constant, which is called as Isothermal process in which pressure is inversely proportional to the volume. A Thermometer works on the principle of Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics.
